Hello! I wonder where my earlier posting went... oh, well, let's take it again.
We are trying to setup a Buffalo WLI-PCM-L11GP-3 wlan card on a RH 8.0 and we are experiencing some problems. We put the card in the slot and configured it by running redhat-config-network. iwconfig gives: Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 15 of Wireless Extension, while this program is using version 13. Some things may be broken... eth1 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"hok" Nickname:"???.???.???" Mode:Ad-Hoc Frequency:2.442GHz Cell: ??:??:??:??:??:?? We have wireless tools 25-1 installed. Does anybody have a clue about what we have done wrong? Could the problem be with our PCMCIA-settings? Grateful for any answer! /Cage -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
