Ack.. I figured it out myself (I must remember to check google more often)

"Very Fast" xset m 7 10 &
"Normal(Fast)" xset m 3 10 &
"System Default" xset m default &
"Glacial" xset m 0 10 &

Glacial works fine with this mouse :)

Thanks anyways.. :)

Kel.

P.S. (Sorry about the mime in the previous msg.. I've changed the settings in mozilla mail to text only)

ok.. i give in...

I've just been out and bought a new wireless keyboard/mouse combo... so far the keyboard is working fine and dandy and once I figure out how to map the "extra" keys to something useful.. it'll be a nice keyboard..

the mouse on the otherhand.. while working smoothly under XP on my laptop zooms around the screen like a mouse possesed..

I found the "mouse speed" option in KDE 3.1-11's Control Panel and set the speed back to the slowest (1).. however.. it's still ~wayyyy~ too fast...

anyone know where I can change the mouse speed a bit more accurately?

I've looked in the X11 config file but I'm not sure what to do in there..

TIA

Kel
