Got into your BIOS, turn off the PNP OS option, power down the machine for about 30 seconds, power it back on, boot into RH, and see if it "awakens" after that. You can also remove the module configurations from the /etc/modules.conf, reboot and see if it "find it" again - but do all of that, then run the sndconfig again - SOMETHING's gotta give, and it's sad to see you posting this same question more than three times. -- Sun Jun 8 18:00:01 EST 2003 18:00:01 up 1 day, 3:51, 3 users, load average: 0.15, 0.08, 0.02 ----------------------------------------------------------------- | __ __ |kuhn media australia | | /-oo /| |'-. |http://kma.0catch.com | | .\__/ || | | |================================| | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' |stephen kuhn | | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | ----------------------------------------------------------------- linux user #:267497 linux machine #:194239 * MDK 9.1 & RH 7.3 Mandrake Linux Kernel 2.4.21-11mdk Cooker for i586 ----------------------------------------------------------------- * This message was composed on a 100% Microsoft free computer * Changing husbands/wives is only changing troubles. -- Kathleen Norris -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
