I'd love to know the answer, too. I've just spent several days trying to do
an NSF install on a laptop w/ a new h/d, from my main system, and every
single time, before anaconda or after, it signal 11's. Several times, it's
gotten as far as setting up the RPM transaction, and installed the first
few packages...and then, bloowey.

Now, I've googled, and found some info on this, but most of the info about
it claims that it's hardware related. Folling suggestions, I've even turned
off the cache, which makes it intolerably slow...but didn't help.

It may be my system, btw - I've booted from the floppy to "linux text
rescue", partitioned, made the file systems, mounted 'em...and then had it
just hang while I was copying the first iso.

        mark
