It seems like I am experience many problems with redhat 9 and quicktime, either openquicktime or quicktime4linux.Has anyone been successful in viewing quicktime movies that were encoded with the PNG codec?
I have received several which I cannot view with either xine or mplayer. I've rebuilt mplayer .90 with PNG support for the video codec. I can hear
the audio but get a blue screen as I play. I've also downloaded their mail
list archive and have gone through it a few times. Still can't find any
reason for the video problem.
I've tried libpng 1.2.5 and 1.0.12 with the same results.
Thoughts?

The computer crashes all day long.
Each time I encode, transform or read from my camcorder using some quicktime libs.
What distro version are you using?
