Hi all,

I'm looking into a total SCSI conversion, and looking at an Adaptec
UW2940 PCI card as the center. I've also heard a rumor that Adaptec is
now opening up so the Linux/BSD drivers should become more and more
stable -- is there any truth to this? How good is the support for this
card under Linux?

Now that I'm thinking of it, the Advansys driver is no doubt very stable
since they openly support people writing drivers, is there any reason to
get the Adaptec card instead? Or, for that matter, are there any
reasons to get one card or the other?

Thanks,

    -Fred
