No to both - I've always been able to resolve virgin.net on my box - fetchmail does this every few minutes. Still having to force outgoing mail to leave by pushing it out with sendmail -q - which works every time. I just wish it would leave of its own accord! If I don't manually flush it, it will queue up forever, or at least for half an hour or so which is the longest I've forgotten to flush it by hand since I installed RH9.0 yesterday.
