Why are you using your DSL modem as your DNS server?  You haven't given
us enough information, so it's hard to tell you WHAT to put in there. 
Under normal circumstances, you want to put your ISP's resolving
nameservers in your resolv.conf.  Personally, I have my firewall hand
out DNS servers via dhcpd.
