Bruce If you are going to update multiple machines on your lan you will want to have ALL the files on your lan some where. That way the bandwidth to the net will only be used for one dl rather than each time. Depending on the speed of your lan and that of the internet connection, you are talking the difference between minutes and hours or days to do an install. I apologize for not getting what you are saying. It never crossed my mind that you were thinking of multiple remote installs. Do yourself a favor and start dling either the installation tree itself or the isos so you can make your own. I like the isos so you at least have the option of making your own cds in the future without jumping through unnecessary hoops. Look for a mirror rather than from redhat itself the dl can be quite a bit faster. Mirror sites can be found at http://www.redhat.com/mirrors You will need several GBs of space on a server on your lan to make the files available. This may be a lot to bite off for your skillset. Have you considered hiring out to get this done? There are folks on this list who do linux consulting and I have been known to make a few bucks on the side as well :) Bret -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
