While you are correct, connecting in this manner with "alerts@" sure
LOOKED like spam.

A. I said "apparently." B. It LOOKED like someone was spamming
individuals harvested from this list. C. I sent the logs to the company
and did not receive a reply.

I'm sorry if I ruined your whole day with my egregious error. ;-)
