My mistake ! It solved the problem ! Thank you ! Although I had set the encoding to ISO-8859-1 in the homepage, I noticed now that the new pages konqueror opens had the encoding set to Auto. I changed it to ISO-8859-1 and it displayed the pages correcly. Still I don't get it why the homepage shows correctly with Auto encoding, but the other pages don't.
