Hi Giampiero,
The line you show from your fstab looks ok. Could the problem be
another line in the fstab? You don't have to reboot to test your
fstab entry.
after a change type:
mount /dev/hdb1
All the options will be read from your fstab and /dev/hdb1 will be mounted.
Any error messages when trying this will help.
