Of course it's easy to hack. Any vanilly install with known exploit is easy to hack. There is no distro off the shelf that's entirely secure. Software will get out-dated, security flaws will be found and fixed, software will have to be patched. It is YOUR job to make it secure, maintain the software, and apply security fix.
