My RH 5.0 was running fine. I figured I would download the new ftpae for Ditto Max and isapnptools. I used rpm and installed only the isapnp, not ftape. Fine, until I rebooted. Sys. comes back with no dead to the network. I screwed up some thing with isapnptools. How do I get back to before the new isapnp and have my sys work. I rpm -e isapnp, reboot (no luck) I comented out the isapnp part of rc.sysinit, reboot(no luck) I have a 3com 509 that the redhat install found. I have never had to mess with it. I just want to go back to the way it was by default. THIS DID TEACH ME THE IMPORTANCE OF BACKUP. Is /etc/isapnp.conf a default file. How can I get my sys online again.
