Again i think the modular kernel will get in the way of using this but you can play around with it.
I will try with compiling the kernel.
Remember you can always check for yourself; what does "man tune2fs" tell you is correct? Is your filesystem actually ext3 ? Are you using the correct partition in place of the /dev/hda2 used in the example above ?
