Hi
Please will people NOT repeat NOT attach large files of ANY kind to
posts to this (or any other) Red Hat mailing list.
We have some 3000 people subscribed to this this list and sending 68k
zip files off around the world makes even our 15Mbps (up recently from
9Mbps) Internet link need to take a deep breath.
Remember - Internet access costs most people money and emailing someone
a 68k zip file that they do not want is unlikely to win you friends! I
speak as someone who ran Australia's most remote Internet connected site
for some time - and the long distance communications charges associated
with a 1,800 km phone link are something to make you wince!
So, at the risk of being seen as boorish, I will repeat...
******************************************************************
DO NOT ATTACH LARGE FILES TO MESSAGES YOU POST TO ANY RED HAT LIST
******************************************************************
(just send a private email to the individual concerned with the file
attached - you can announce you have the info available if you want -
just don't send it to the list and hence on to all our subscribers).
Thanks,
