I have Redhat 9.0 and a Dlink external 56K data/fax modem. (DFM - 560ES)
I want to know how i can communicate with the modem either as shell commands or as a C program.
I tried the following, which did not work
ln -s /dev/ttyS1 /dev/modem
echo "ATX1DT6565206" > /dev/modem
is there any other way. Please let me know.
