every time i try to connect to the internet redhat8, using kPPP i get errors messages in the log file as follow
"pppd 2.4.1 started by root, uid 0" "using interface ppp0" "connect ppp<->/dev/ttys1" "chap autentication failed" "connection terminated" exit
and get error in a box that "pppd died unexpectedly"
by the way i tried chap/pap, pap chap. same errors. even when in terminal mode i get the login and passwd, but it failed. can any one tell what should i do? thanks
HHmmm. IF in TERMINAL mode, your logon and password fail, then I'm sorry, but to me it feels like it MUST be a wrong user name or password then. Cannot be anything else.
