Well, since "Slack" traditionally refers to the Church of the Subgenius
(a connection which is supported by several of the install.end files
in the disk-set subdirectories on the Slackware CD-ROM - see:
http://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/distributions/slackware/slakware/xap5/install.end
)
and the "official" mascot (diety?) of the Church of the Subgenius
is Bob, I would have to assume that the Slackware Logo would
be that of Bob. Lotsa links (and lotsa Bobs) can be found here:
http://www.yahoo.com/Society_and_Culture/Religion/Humor/Parody_Religions/Church_of_the_SubGenius/
Note that Slackware also has this in one of the package descriptions:
xlock: xlockmore-4.02.1
xlock:
xlock: Patrick J. Naughton's xlock screensaver/locker for X, with
many
xlock: more modes added by David A. Bagley. The 'Bob' bitmap (mode
'image')
xlock: has been included especially for Slackware.
