Yes! there are several really *great* word processing / database /
spreadsheat programs for linux out there.  LaTeX / TeX  with the LyX front
end is quite good. As is Caldera's StarOffice (www.caldera.com) and
Applixware, which has a *special* version for RH5 (you can find this at
www.linuxmall.com , look under products).

The other door, is to use wine and run an older version of MS Word for
Windows 3.1.  However, this is not suggested, because, well, it's still
using Microsoft :) And besides, there are so many great inexpensive Linux
Word Processors out there!
