Hello all,
A quick question for you:
Why are xterm, nxterm, rxvt and friends suid root?
To be able to write to /var/log/wtmp and/or /var/run/utmp maybe?
Any other reasons they should/shouldn't be suid-root?
Thanks,
sb.
