Thanks for responding to my query about "libc".
One question I'm hoping you (or somebody) can answer, though; I did
everything you mentioned on your web page but I'm having trouble with the
"setup" script.
When I try to run "setup /net" I get the error message "file or command not
found", even though if I do a "ls -l setup" in the
"/usr/local/Office40_Install" directory the file "setup" *does* appear with
permissions set at -rwxr-xr-x. I also tried going up one level to
"usr/local" and entered "/Office40_Install/setup /net" and that was also a
no go.
BTW, "bash" IS installed as the default shell.
I had this problem happen before on an installation on a different computer;
bash was installed as the default shell; I was using a script made by
someone else that was working fine for others; all the permissions were set
right; yet the script wouldn't run. And the solution was even more strange;
I didn't do anything! It just started working one day on its own.
Anyhow, would you happen to have any suggestions about getting this script
to kick in and run "setup"?
Regards .......
