Sure, you can do both.

However, I HIGHLY suggest you use 2 different systems to do this.

1st) Web server / Firewall - IP Masq / 2 IP's one internet the other
intranet. Intranet uses a private network address.

2nd) SQL / App server - SMB Server / 1 IP private - therefore behind the
firewall / Any other private service.

This way if someone breaks into your web server, your not totally screwed.
