Which partition is marked as active?  Win 95 must be on the active partition 
on the first drive.  Also, as I noted elsewhere, your problem may be from disk 
druid, if you used that.

Win95 & DOS can have real problems tring to use partitions created with linux 
fdisk.  It's a general rule that you should use the fdisk provided with the 
operating system you're installing.  Thus my earlier recommendation that you 
first create a 1Gb partition for Win 95 using the DOS/Win 95 fdisk & leave the 
rest of the space unused.  Partition that space with Linux fdisk, not with 
disk druid.  I understand that the newest version of Disk Druid has dealt with 
some of the large disk problems, so should be better in the near future.
