The Cartman installation guide walks you through doing a RAID based installation. Rather than choosing "Linux native", you choose "Linux RAID" for your partition type during the installation.. Once you do that, it's pretty straight-forward. RH has been including (since 6.0) the newer RAID patches, which don't require you to do the old mdstart|mdadd|mdrun stuff. The new patches store the RAID info in the RAID itself, rather than only in a text file. It also permits the RAID to be "autostarted"... Note that I haven't done a Cartman RAID installation, just read about it in the installation guide. My big test for Cartman is running Oracle 8i. luck++; -- Jason Costomiris <>< Technologist, cryptogeek, human. jcostom {at} jasons {dot} org | http://www.jasons.org/ -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
