I have been trying to compile a few KDE apps on my stock RH6.1 system. One is a
KDE workstation installation with networking and development packages added,
and the other is a full blown everything and the kitchen sink installation.
When I try to run ./configure I get the following error:
checking for extra libs... no
checking for kde headers installed... yes
checking for kde libraries installed... configure: error: your system fails at linking
a small KDE application!
Check, if your compiler is installed correctly and if you have used the
same compiler to compile Qt and kdelibs as you did use now
What do I need to do to correct this problem? Am I going to need to recompile
Qt or kdelibs or both? (Not looking forward to that....) Any words of wisdom
will be greatly appreciated!
