Is it configured in PnP mode? If so Linux will shit a brick when it tries
to configure it (which it is apparently doing) In order to get it working
in Linux you will need to toss it into Manual mode and then fiddle with it
in windows to get it working under it (windows that is) Linux SHOULD have
no trouble using once it is outta PnP
