rpmfind won't stop rewriting .rpmfind

How do I stop rpmfind from rewriting .rpmfind in my home directory, which
overrides my modifications. Why does it do this and how do I stop it?

The package is from rh 6.1 and is rpmfind-1.2-4.i386.rpm.
