Don't know if I've missed it, but there's an awful lot of "heads up" e-mail coming to me about scans of port 98 from 170.1.173.82, 216.59.27.31 and 216.0.149.200 ( and I think there's more, but these were the most common). Is this an "stealthy" way of detecting LINUX boxes running linuxconf for an exploit? Or is it just to see if that system is running LINUX? Thanks.
