I've checked and double checked the jumpers and voltage settings. I am in
touch with the vendor of the system (Arista), they mentioned they had
heard rumors that this particular motherboard runs hot. It doesn't help
that this is a 1U rackmount system, the only heatsink that will fit is the
same garden variety one would expect to find on an old Pentium 166.
I'm sure the serial number sticker and lack of grease on the CPU doesn't
help much...:)
If anyone is interested in a 1U rackmount x86 box that isn't too
expensive, I'm pretty happy with Arista thus far, despite the current
glitch. They have been very responsive and are willing to "make it right".
