For what its worth, if the hard disk size is very small, it may be worth
using some of the "floppy only" OSs , there is a BSD version I like called
Pico BSD , it has dial up, firewall, telnet and other nice things, all on a
floppy ........ There is also Linux versions that do the same thing, but
have not used them myself as yet.

If you have a server there with a CD rom on UNIX or NT, put the CD in the
drive, mount the CD, add an FTP link to it, and do a network FTP
install......
