I have an Adaptic 1502 which has worked flawlessly for years now. It came with my venerable Microtek E3. It uses the 152x module. You do have to recompile the kernel. I have begun compiling it into the kernel rather than modular. Now I don't have to add extra lines in '/etc/conf.modules' In 'etc/lilo.conf' I did add the line append="aha152x=0x340,11,7" Those are my paticular specs but should give you "the idea"!
