Are you sure you need to send, and are sending properly, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
as the username? Perchance that has changed.

I've used earthlink which prefaced logins with 'eln/' before the username.
I've also use others that required other things prior to the username. I've
yet to see one that required the entire ME@WHATEVER addressing scheme to
login, though I wouldn't rule it out.

Possibly this is PAP, which would send the entire string of username and
password at the first prompt rather than separate responses.
