GlibC is your problem... Mandrake 6.0 did not use the same version as RH
6.0.
This changed with 6.1...
Anyways..
Many rpm's look for the "release" rpm. If they see Redhat, the RPM's
install...
Mandrake replaces this RPM with one titled Mandrake-Linux... thus the
installs fail.
All you have to do is FORCE the install of the REDHAT "release" rpm and you
are good to go.
Note that this may cause some Mandrake RPM's to fail to install.
Mandrake SHOULD go back to using the Redhat RELEASE rpm instead...
