I am running RH 6.1, kernel 2.2.13 with modular 
sound for a Creatice Ensonique 1371 PCI.  Sound
is working so I am not sure what the es1371 message
means under the circumstances.

There seems to be some hardware issues on my system,
relating to harddrives and soundcard.  My hda is an
8.4 GB Seagate IDE.

The system appears to function just fine.  I would like 
to eliminate the messages and/or correct the situation.
I could see the potential for the messages to continue
growing until hdd space is consumed.

Running dmesg gives me this:
