I have two RH6 boxes and I'm trying to get them to mount each others
filesystems. I've no problem getting them to mount each others root
partitions, but I can't for the life of me get them to mount each others
/home partitions. Both boxes have /home on a separate partition from the
root partition, which seems to be causing the problem. I can mount
/usr/local, apparently because it's on the same partition as /, but when I
try to mount /home...
mount fails with "reason given by server: permission denied"
/var/log/messages on the server says "getfh failed: operation not permitted"
I've been searching newsgroups and hypermail archives for the solution to
this problem, and have come across a few posts from people with similar
problems, but not solutions as yet.
What do I gotta do to make this work?
