Look in the apache SRPM (the apache.spec file more accurately), but
also note comparing one userland app against the same app
on two dif os's isn't exactly going to give you rock solid evidence.
Also how are you comparing the sparc hardware to x86 hardware?
You could be using the sparc version of RH, but I am assuming intel.
