Hi, so I was helping out in a chat group last night and this fellow
could not get his users (other than root) to use the modem to use
KPPD, so the only thing I knew to fix it was to change the ownership
of the /dev/ttys0 (changed it to nobody:nobody).

I am assuming this is a security pit, and I was wondering the correct
way of doing this.

I had him try putting the users he wanted to use the dialer in the
/etc/kppp.allow file, and that did nothing. I also had him use the
linuxconf (GUI version) and depress the "Allow Any User to
(de)/Activate" button, again did not work. But the changing of the
ownership of the /dev/ttys0 did.

Just wondering so I get it right next time.
