I have 2 1996 vintage PC's with the Award 4.51 BIOS. One boots fine (has
the better looking MB) while the other wouldn't boot this morning. It
hung with some sort of floppy drive not found error. Could be a
coincidence that something else went wrong, and disabling the boot from
floppy option in the BIOS got it up and running.

I also have a 1996 vintage AMI BIOS which appears to have switched back
to 1996 during the rollover. It also seemed to glitch when I booted it
up and LILO did 'weird stuff' with a bunch of errors that were gone
before I could get a good look. I reset the clock and rebooted and all
was fine.

Haven't had any problems as far as Mandrake 6.1 (or even Win 95) goes.
Haven't tried the dual boot 95/5.2 box in 5.2 yet.
