ethernet question

Just set up a small network at home. Works well. One thing that is curious is that when I run Xsession on my win95 box (using exceed) I get messages like this on my RedHat box:
    eth0: tx interrupt but no status

Everything works ok but I'm curious as to what this message might mean.
