Go to www.blackdown.org and get the Blackdown port of the Sun JDK.
You can get Java 1.1 or Java 1.2 stuff.
As an alternative, the IBM JDK is offering much better performance
for Java 1.1 stuff. I don't have a URL for that, but check www.freshmeat.net
and search for the announcement of that offering. It's 1.1.8.
