One user said they're doing it to prevent spam on their news servers. Bullsh**! They don't need to port scan everyone for nntp. People use nntp for valid reasons. They need to detect mulitple news postings on their server's end. That's the best way to prevent spam. They're creating IP traffic, creating problems, and creating my ulser.
