Where the 1024 limit falls depends on the addressing scheme, typically
set in the BIOS. Typically, 550M is it when no attempt is made to
change the way the BIOS reports c/h/s. Just by turning on LBA, this
often puts 1024 around 8G -- big difference for the exact same drive.
For Lilo to boot, /boot needs to be below 1024.
