Hmmm.... that just gives me another error:

Cannot add module via name 'mod_perl.c': not in list of loaded modules

Somewhere, I must be missing something....

mod_perl is included, but not enabled in httpd.conf.
vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Look for mod_perl in the file, and remove the "#" signs.
