I didn't want to ask them, since it was an oracle newsgroup, but they are
using the internet to install oracle.. Meaning, they are connecting to a
unix/linux server, and running X to install oracle over the internet.. I
am just curious how they are doing it as it would save me loads of disk
space on the 3 computers that do have X. 

I should have taken the beating and asked them! :)
