Hi, I am wanting to create a VPN using two redhat 6.1 servers, I think...
I am wanting to be able to use a samba share (securely) for a remote client
over the internet. Like mapping a drive on the samba server remotly to a
Win9x workstation, again securely.
I suppose that a VPN solution is the way to go?
What is the best solution for this, both the servers will have real IP's and
the clients (tied to each server) will have non-routeable IP's. I have
looked at Linux S/WAN (using IpSec) and PPTP, seems that PPTP is not very
supported or secure. I am thinking that VPN Masq'ing is the better solution?
Actually I dont have a clue and am hoping someone will help me out ;)
Rude noises, and pointing fingers are appreciated...
