  On both of my Toshiba notebooks (first the Libretto, now the Portege), I
had to set up /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config by hand. For some reason, RH
couldn't probe properly. It identified the video chip sets, but that's as
far as it went.

  Editing XF86Config, I set up the default color depth at 16 bpp and the
default resolution as 800x600. The driver section is SVGA.

  That's about all I can contribute.
