I am getting ready to start purchasing parts to build a couple of computers
so I can learn more about networking. I am curious about what processor to
buy though. I have found a Celeron 500 for $102.00 and PII 400-450 for about
$150+. I am not planning on doing anything real demanding except for maybe a
little database and web development. One of these machines will be running
linux solely the other windows.
Does anyone know how the Celeron 500's compare to the PII's or have
recommendations as to what to look at? Also, can anyone recommend a good MB.
