Run exceed on your machine at work.
Telnet/ssh/rlogin (your choice) to your box at home.
username: myusername
password: mypassword
[user@localhost user:~] export DISPLAY=my.ip.address.atwork:0.0
[user@localhost user:~] XappThatIwantToRun &
If your place of work uses a firewall (or you do at home, and you probably
should if you leave it connected to the net all day) you may have to tweak
the port settings. Charles Galpin got VNC going through a proxy/firewall
recently. Perhaps Exceed is using similar ports.
If there are no firewalls, then the above should work immediately (if a bit
slowly)
