I am trying to configure sendmail 8. working within a linux network : 2
sparcs with RedHat6.1 and 1 Intel PC with RH 6.0 linked together by my
etherlink hub.

hostname :                         cyan.is.snpe_esm
yellow.is.snpe_esm
name+domainname :  cyan.is.snpe_esm             yellow.is.snpe_esm
IP adress:                        140.1.0.2
140.1.0.3
network mask:             255.255.0.0                   255.255.0.0
network interface:              eth0                                    eth0
kernel module :                 ?
?

If I try to send a mail from yellow to cyan :
mail root@cyan                          ------->
host name lookup failure !

Precision :
I can do ping, telnet , ftp but no mail :-| ?
By the way, I use neither NIS nor DNS !
